Braintree Masonic Centre

The present building was built shortly after 1932 when £10000 was willed by Bro. John Burgess Howard for the purpose of building of a Masonic Hall. The building became "Howard Hall" and was dedicated on the 21st April 1934 by Sir Frederic Senier APGM.

The previous Masonic Hall, located in New Street, was sold off to St. Michael's Church.
